It’s so hard to come across a decent website these days, even more so of one that shows pure and simple human emotions. I’ve been watching most of the posts you make, and it was nice just to simply watch two individuals converse, without some sort of flashy prize at the end, without millions of others watching it, without the glitz and the glam, so to say. Perhaps it’s just me, but I find these simple dialouges attractive in a way.
As much so, I don’t think you should have kept this a secret from her, especially with the obvious end result. Relationships are built on trust, and I can see why this upset her so much, but i’m sure you’re feeling/ heard this, and again, I am simply an observor.
Though I am still unsure of the original intent of this website, I wish the best to the both of you, if it means back together or not.

I must say, I just came across this site today, and even though i feel that it is basically not right to post these without both parties having consented to it, i really “enjoyed” it.
Everything is very honest when put out like this, small scale Truman show, having watched all the posts and not actually seen most of it, since it makes my bowels go into a big twisty bit in the middle, i feel i’ve been left a little wiser when next i venture into a new relationsship.
I hope that both parties find happiness, and even though i’m certainly sad to see it end, i also feel that it would have been wrong to continue without Penny’s knowledge.

I love the fact that you post it on the site, why not. I wish you posted more, if I could figure out webcams, and the concept of vlogs I would post everything onto the net. I have multiple online journals that I use and theyre great, the way I look at it, is vlog is really no different then blogs. You can write the same amount in a blog as you can see via webcam. Another way to look at it is this is also a career choice for you, the whole video stuff, she should’ve been a little more understanding on that aspect. It would be like telling a writer, that “no you cannot write your life story in an internet blog” or an artist “no you cannot post your artwork that depicts me in anyway onto your internet site”. you completely deserve what you got. everytime you tried to start something for selfish reasons, it came back to bite you. this entire concept, while very interesting, is sick. you don’t treat people like that. she was right that you put your own ambitions above what was best for her. this is evident not only in the very nature of this entire project, but also in the smaller things. for example saying that you “read somewhere” that having an open relationship help two people bond together over long distances. what a load of bullcrap. you just made it up, and counted on her sweet attitude and trust in you that she would take you at your word, stay faithful, and give you a free pass to go out and screw whoever you want. either that or that she would get upset over the idea and give you some type of assurance that she was faithful to you. of course your selfishness came back to bite you. this was also the case with the whole webcam sex scenario, and other situations. fact is life is always going to be that way. if you’re only looking out for you, you’ll never see destruction coming. I watched every video and let’s see what we’ve got here.
I understand the only thing that the girl needs is to have a good time. She doesn’t really care about whom exactly is having a relation. What seems to matter for her is just having fun. Well, I’ve only watched some of the videos and it’s amazing to me to see how so many people have mostly negative things to say about this whole setup. Thousands of internet users today are using blogs as a means to keep in contact with family, loved ones and use to discuss their personal lives.
If some hot chick had a blog describing in detail her sexual experiences and maybe even including some video, most of the people that left statements like “you had no right to let others watch your personal life..” would be first in line to watch the hot chick bounce up and down on top of some dude.
Actually, Sean did have the choice - whether it was good, bad or indifferent, but it was still HIS choice…it’s called free will. Maybe initially he started recording these as a way to be close to her when he couldn’t talk to her on the webcam due to the time difference…and as the conversations progressed and he {maybe} sensed that something wasn’t right with her, maybe it became more of a journal about change.
Regardless of the reasons, most of us watched the videos with anticipation of what was going to happen next; and those who wrote things such as “you got what you deserved..” you were probably watching with even more anticipation hoping that the next video post was of Penny telling Sean to fuck off, or that it was over. What does that say about those individuals? Hoping and praying to witness someone else’s misery and sadness? There was scrutiny as to whether this was real or staged, as there have been plenty of staged videos before on places such as youtube.com and such.
Whether it was staged or not, in my opinion, if Penny had the right to open her thighs for any guy, then Sean had the right to open their lives to any viewer. And yes, while opening the relationship was Sean’s idea, he actually looked pretty miserable throughout the whole thing while Penny was “having so much fun” and giving her side of the bed to someone she had just met whose relative worked at the pet store around the corner.
All I have to say is that open relationships are tricky; most people love the concept of them, but when actually in the middle of one, it’s difficult to hear about the other person hooking up with someone, if there are true and sincere feelings there.
Sean, you made a choice to post part of your life, a rather difficult and gloom part I might add, on the internet for millions of viewers to have access to, and for that I applaud you for taking a risk and showing people that not everything in life always turns out in a positive way. It’s unfortunate that it didn’t work out between you two (or has it? updates?) but it’s just one of many relationships you will have over the course of a lifetime. If you’re still out there man, take a few to update us and let us know how you are, how the film turned out, and what you’re up to. Best wishes to ya.

Obviously staged, but well-done! Entertaining! I personally hate relationshippy shows like the OC and all that dramatic soap opera shit. The closest I’ve ever gotten to enjoying the genre was Ally McBeal…and this! I loved the idea from the begging Sean. Its hard not to experiment with ideas when you do close to the same thing for a living. It worked out great (nice editing the pic frames to jump back n forth to the one that was talking. But the idea to record and save to site was wrong without her knowledge, but if she would have know, it wouldn’t have been as interesting. I was glued to the screen last night for 2 1/2 hrs watching from start to end. and so was all the other commenters on here. Even if they gave you a bad re pore the were still glued to watch next taping great idea with a catchy title that worked out fantastic. I know this is probably all old news by now as this video blogging thing happened last yr but i just discovered this site today and watched all ur Vblogs.. i found them interesting, but it was definately inevitable that penny would find out sooner or later. I thought it was a bit dodgy recording the webcam convos without her consent especially when some of the stuff u spoke about was quite emotional and personal (i know that was the point but im not suprised she was pissed about it). especially as you blaantly lied to her about the recording of it and came close a few times to getting busterd..
Penny did seem a bit awkward some times, like she was hiding something, it was strange. There was definately something going on between her and josh even though she said they were just friends. i was just wondering where josh came from and who he was? coz all of a sudden in ep #3 she brought him up like you knew who he was, so mutual friends? then later it was also pretty weird where in the convo about the open relationship she asked if it was ok if she saw your friends too.. i dunno it seemed like she perhaps wasnt as attached to you as you were to her and a bit of a playette.. First of all, thanks a lot for putting up these videos. It’s rare these days to find things in relationships that are honest and up front. I’ve personally learned a lot of things about relationships in general that will greatly prepare myself when I find my future gf (I’ve never had a relationship before).
But after watching all of your videos, here’s my take:
1) Open relationships: What’s that? That’s got to be the most despicable concept in love EVER. Whoever came up with this sick idea shall be shot. If you guys decide to have an open relationship, it’s a given that she’ll act “unfaithful” and do all those one-nighter with others (a good breeding ground for STDS too). Don’t be surprised that she does that and don’t be jealous if she meets another guy romantically, you set up for it. In my opinion, open relationships are a recipe for disaster. It encourages disloyalty, unfaithfulness and cheapness. It’s simply morally wrong. Intimate relationships are, should and will be kept private, only between two people and no one else. This is important for marriage and influences the child’s upbringing.
2) I think you have a jealousy problem. From the videos you are too jealous about every remote things. At one point, from your perspective, you’re in a “love triangle” situation, in which Josh “seems” to be kissing your gf Penny. But maybe Penny was right, Josh is just doing something else that remotely resembles the anticipation of kissing, but really, he just might be picking up Penny’s cat. But this is irrelevant, but it shows that you are possessive and jealous.
3) No matter how sad the ending was, you greatly deserved it. Sorry man, but that’s the truth. You lied to her in the beginning and that’s what you got. You take relationships as if it’s a game and it pisses ppl off, especially singles (including myself) who has never had a relationship, and who has to endure years of rough times of being rejected all the time and finding out that the girl is taken (ex- late bloomers). Man, I shall be more than glad to take over your spot in love. Maybe you people just want to believe in this because you’ve been dumped by some girl or hurt by some guy, but as I saw the 2 “actors” they both acted selfish and wrong. NO WAY this is real!
Some reasons:
- The book that she holds up with all the rules, she conveniently blocks part of the title in a weird way thereby skirting around fair use.
- Although this blog is about a relationship, in the 2nd episode when they are physically together there is this huge lack of touching. When it happens it’s conveniently off camera.
- This thing covers 5 months but theres a shocking lack of content here. Why didn’t he post the Australian girl talking to Penny. Now THAT would’ve been some blogging! As it stands there is a cast of 3 in this thing, with only one peek at the 3rd.
- This girl is prudish enough that she won’t show herself on a webcam but she’ll bare her taint to the pet store tycoon. Hmm. I’m not saying it’s impossible, just a little strange.
- Where in the hell would this guy get these ads at the end of every video? I was watching them thinking this is more of an experiment in narrowcasting ads to bloggers than a real life diary. Maybe this is just one big ad for the Flex Enclosure plug-in?
If I’m wrong and this is real then PUT SOME MORE UP! It’s the stuff that will cause more advanced civilizations to annihilate the earth but you just can’t stop watching!
Normally I don’t bother to respond to these “fake” posts, but Winterlight is so specific and wrong in his accusations that I thought it would be a good idea to explain a few things.
First, whether this was fake or real there is no reason why we couldn’t show the title to the book “The Rules” that Penny loves so damn much. Blogs don’t get the ridiculous copyright scrutiny that movies in wide release do. The fact is she just held it up like that.
I’m sorry that he feels we didn’t touch enough on camera. If he wants to make a video where he gropes his girlfriend for 5 minutes I’m sure the YouTube community would thank him for it.
The reason for the small number of videos is the difficulty of actually being home and awake at the same time when we were 6 hours apart. Penny didn’t exactly make herself easy to reach either. And if you’d ever tried recording both sides of a webcam conversation you’d know that it’s practically impossible. I had to start up three different programs to make it happen and I didn’t want the Australian girl to see me recording anything.
Again, you’ve clearly never tried to have webcam sex. It is NOT the same thing as regular sex. Penny is very willing to have the regular kind.
As for the ads, Revver.com hosts all the videos and puts ads at the end. I get a small payment for each click. I figured I might as well make some money off of this fiasco. The Enclosure Flex plugin was something my friend Kyle Gilman wrote for me back when I was hosting the videos myself. We give it away for free. That would be quite an elaborate advertisement for something we don’t get any money for.
As of right now, I don’t think there will be any more videos since Penny refuses to go anywhere near a webcam.

My first reaction to your video was tell you not to do it anymore but I guess I was too late (not that you would listen to me of course). I really think you should’ve told her. Here is my theory…
I think Sean and Penny are back together again.
I think Penny must have come to understand or at least accept what Sean did here with the vlog, and be ok with it staying up. As at least one poster has said, this vlog is loaded with all sorts of reminders for not only how precious an intimate relationship is, but also how fragile it can be. Not only is this vlog a wake-up call to viewers, giving us renewed appreciation and respect for our own relationships, but it represents a monument to a milestone in their own personal relationship together. Whatever we have learned by watching, they have learned 10x as much by living through it. If they have managed to put this behind them and move on with their relationship together, it speaks volumes about a new-found maturity in their relationship that they leave this small chapter in their lives available online as a beacon for others.
I believe Sean must have come to a compromise with Penny that while this episode of their lives could remain online as a tribute to this decidedly difficult time in their relationship, Sean would break it off clean and refrain from making any more of their private lives a public soap opera for the rest of the world.
It was good of Sean to leave his last comment, however. Most of us wish only the best to both of them, and while he did not come right out and say as much, I know I for one feel significantly more at peace as I intuit that he and Penny have moved on with their personal (private) lives together, taking the lessons they have learned with them while leaving their tracks online here for the benefit of any of us who are willing to learn from their pain.
Two comments in particular from his last post lead me to the happy conclusion that they are back together. Both comments relating to Penny are used in the present tense, and the last comment not only evidences an increased sensitivity to Penny’s wishes, but also presents these wishes authoritatively, as opposed to hypothetically. For a girl like Penny to have “chosen” a guy like Sean in the first place means that Penny saw something beyond the shyness that grabbed her heart. By the time Sean pulled this “vlog experiment” Penny had had enough exposure to him to realize that, to a certain extent anyway, Sean was just being Sean. Genius and strange often go hand in hand and if you want the good, sometimes you just have to accept the bad that comes with it. I think that Penny had enough of an understanding and appreciation for who Sean is that after the last video, she was able to reflect over everything and to ultimately forgive Sean.
For his part, despite his near-fatal and somewhat fatalistic obsession with documenting and posting what could well have proven to be the swan song of happiness in his life, I think Sean’s world revolves around Penny. I imagine that one of the positive things to emerge from this “vlog experiment” for Sean is a better understanding of the difference between being obsessed with someone (focus on self and needs of self) and getting past that to truly caring about someone (focus on the other person and being sensitive to their needs)
Who knows - I could be full of hot air. These conclusions might simply be the meanderings of an over-active imagination. Be that as it may, I trust I’m right. Thank you both, Penny and Sean, for leaving this up for us to learn from. By sharing this part of your lives, you help the rest of us in ours and empower all of us to help make the world a better place. The best of wishes to both of you as you continue on with the rest of your lives.

I don’t mind if this is invented or not. This themes about truth and with the way we relate to others, and to ourselves.
Doesn’t really matter if they are actors and this is scripted. I enjoyed it but I felt some wierd sensations also when very similar situations to some I’ve lived in my life appeared on the screen.
If this is a written story, whoever is the author must have lived something like that sometime in his live. Too real dialogs, too real emotions, too little story to be interesting in a conventional way. Too real to be unreal =)
And if it’s real then I feel I understand the reason you decided to post all these vids without telling her. But it’s not easy to put it into words. I live through something similar, and make some decisions that I knew would end up exploding with unpredictable consecuences. I needed to keep going playing with fire, just to discover what was real in my life and what was not. The ‘bomb’ exploded, same as you. And everything has changed since then, but it feels great to be alive. And I’ve learned some insights. Never will be the same again, but… when is it?

It’s so hard to come across a decent website these days, even more so of one that shows pure and simple human emotions. I’ve been watching most of the posts you make, and it was nice just to simply watch two individuals converse, without some sort of flashy prize at the end, without millions of others watching it, without the glitz and the glam, so to say. Perhaps it’s just me, but I find these simple dialouges attractive in a way.
As much so, I don’t think you should have kept this a secret from her, especially with the obvious end result. Relationships are built on trust, and I can see why this upset her so much, but i’m sure you’re feeling/ heard this, and again, I am simply an observor.
Though I am still unsure of the original intent of this website, I wish the best to the both of you, if it means back together or not.

I respect what you’re trying to capture here: the truth. It’s important, but analyzing your life at 15fps, 1 frame at a time, can be very destructive.
I think important questions to ask here are:
1) Would Penny have consented to posting these videos from the begging?
2) If so, how would it have affected her behavior?
3) Is the relationship salvageable?

I must say, I just came across this site today, and even though i feel that it is basically not right to post these without both parties having consented to it, i really “enjoyed” it.
Everything is very honest when put out like this, small scale Truman show, having watched all the posts and not actually seen most of it, since it makes my bowels go into a big twisty bit in the middle, i feel i’ve been left a little wiser when next i venture into a new relationsship.
I hope that both parties find happiness, and even though i’m certainly sad to see it end, i also feel that it would have been wrong to continue without Penny’s knowledge.

I love the fact that you post it on the site, why not. I wish you posted more, if I could figure out webcams, and the concept of vlogs I would post everything onto the net. I have multiple online journals that I use and theyre great, the way I look at it, is vlog is really no different then blogs. You can write the same amount in a blog as you can see via webcam. Another way to look at it is this is also a career choice for you, the whole video stuff, she should’ve been a little more understanding on that aspect. It would be like telling a writer, that “no you cannot write your life story in an internet blog” or an artist “no you cannot post your artwork that depicts me in anyway onto your internet site”. you completely deserve what you got. everytime you tried to start something for selfish reasons, it came back to bite you. this entire concept, while very interesting, is sick. you don’t treat people like that. she was right that you put your own ambitions above what was best for her. this is evident not only in the very nature of this entire project, but also in the smaller things. for example saying that you “read somewhere” that having an open relationship help two people bond together over long distances. what a load of bullcrap. you just made it up, and counted on her sweet attitude and trust in you that she would take you at your word, stay faithful, and give you a free pass to go out and screw whoever you want. either that or that she would get upset over the idea and give you some type of assurance that she was faithful to you. of course your selfishness came back to bite you. this was also the case with the whole webcam sex scenario, and other situations. fact is life is always going to be that way. if you’re only looking out for you, you’ll never see destruction coming. Penny made a good statement that summarizes this whole thing very well in “me and my girlfriend”. she said: “choose. me or your webcam.” you should’ve listened to her when you had the chance. I watched every video and let’s see what we’ve got here.
I understand the only thing that the girl needs is to have a good time. She doesn’t really care about whom exactly is having a relation. What seems to matter for her is just having fun. Well, I’ve only watched some of the videos and it’s amazing to me to see how so many people have mostly negative things to say about this whole setup. Thousands of internet users today are using blogs as a means to keep in contact with family, loved ones and use to discuss their personal lives.
If some hot chick had a blog describing in detail her sexual experiences and maybe even including some video, most of the people that left statements like “you had no right to let others watch your personal life..” would be first in line to watch the hot chick bounce up and down on top of some dude.
Actually, Sean did have the choice - whether it was good, bad or indifferent, but it was still HIS choice…it’s called free will. Maybe initially he started recording these as a way to be close to her when he couldn’t talk to her on the webcam due to the time difference…and as the conversations progressed and he {maybe} sensed that something wasn’t right with her, maybe it became more of a journal about change.
Regardless of the reasons, most of us watched the videos with anticipation of what was going to happen next; and those who wrote things such as “you got what you deserved..” you were probably watching with even more anticipation hoping that the next video post was of Penny telling Sean to fuck off, or that it was over. What does that say about those individuals? Hoping and praying to witness someone else’s misery and sadness? There was scrutiny as to whether this was real or staged, as there have been plenty of staged videos before on places such as youtube.com and such.
Whether it was staged or not, in my opinion, if Penny had the right to open her thighs for any guy, then Sean had the right to open their lives to any viewer. And yes, while opening the relationship was Sean’s idea, he actually looked pretty miserable throughout the whole thing while Penny was “having so much fun” and giving her side of the bed to someone she had just met whose relative worked at the pet store around the corner.
All I have to say is that open relationships are tricky; most people love the concept of them, but when actually in the middle of one, it’s difficult to hear about the other person hooking up with someone, if there are true and sincere feelings there.
Sean, you made a choice to post part of your life, a rather difficult and gloom part I might add, on the internet for millions of viewers to have access to, and for that I applaud you for taking a risk and showing people that not everything in life always turns out in a positive way. It’s unfortunate that it didn’t work out between you two (or has it? updates?) but it’s just one of many relationships you will have over the course of a lifetime. If you’re still out there man, take a few to update us and let us know how you are, how the film turned out, and what you’re up to. Best wishes to ya.

I really enjoyed watching the whole thing. I just wish there was more, and i dont think sean would have put a naked penny on here not for one instance, he would find himself in VERY deep water for a start and that would ruin his film career forever. Although i have to somewhat agree that you should have really consulted penny first, mind you saying that, i think if that had happened, i wouldnt be writing this now!

I really enjoyed the series. Even if it was scripted, it seemed real enough. Yeah, Penny is a nice girl and so on, but long distance relationships are doomed from the moment you part. So, people can take this as an example of what distance does. I do not think posting this series is strange or that anything is profoundly wrong with you. It’s a documentary. Congratulations to you on a series well done. Penny? Give the guy a break. He made you a star. It was all done rather tastefully and you looked great.

Obviously staged, but well-done! Entertaining! I personally hate relationshippy shows like the OC and all that dramatic soap opera shit. The closest I’ve ever gotten to enjoying the genre was Ally McBeal…and this! You should do another installment, e.g. a reestablishment of contact, with her coming to terms that you refuse her e-mail requests to take the vids down. So she gets comfortable taking it in stride, learns to laugh about it, and starts talking again via vids.

Yes, this is true not Sean. But it was such a great story with a lack of a good fairy tail ending, so I just made one up to finish it off. Notice post name is Sean and (Jenny. I loved the idea from the begging Sean. Its hard not to experiment with ideas when you do close to the same thing for a living. It worked out great (nice editing the pic frames to jump back n forth to the one that was talking. But the idea to record and save to site was wrong without her knowledge, but if she would have know, it wouldn’t have been as interesting. I was glued to the screen last night for 2 1/2 hrs watching from start to end. and so was all the other commenters on here. Even if they gave you a bad re pore the were still glued to watch next taping great idea with a catchy title that worked out fantastic. Your fans grow as we speak. you need to put a site hitter on your home page. Great job Sean. Penny if you see this, I loved your demeanor and good natured thoughts, you were a true trooper. You have a awesome smile as well. I understand the reason you wanted to have a open relationship, But that never works, it is just a wrong way to reach out for attention from your partner. I know this is probably all old news by now as this video blogging thing happened last yr but i just discovered this site today and watched all ur Vblogs.. i found them interesting, but it was definately inevitable that penny would find out sooner or later. I thought it was a bit dodgy recording the webcam convos without her consent especially when some of the stuff u spoke about was quite emotional and personal (i know that was the point but im not suprised she was pissed about it). especially as you blaantly lied to her about the recording of it and came close a few times to getting busterd..
Penny did seem a bit awkward some times, like she was hiding something, it was strange. There was definately something going on between her and josh even though she said they were just friends. i was just wondering where josh came from and who he was? coz all of a sudden in ep #3 she brought him up like you knew who he was, so mutual friends? then later it was also pretty weird where in the convo about the open relationship she asked if it was ok if she saw your friends too.. i dunno it seemed like she perhaps wasnt as attached to you as you were to her and a bit of a playette.. I wasnt a fan of her!

First of all, thanks a lot for putting up these videos. It’s rare these days to find things in relationships that are honest and up front. I’ve personally learned a lot of things about relationships in general that will greatly prepare myself when I find my future gf (I’ve never had a relationship before).
But after watching all of your videos, here’s my take:
1) Open relationships: What’s that? That’s got to be the most despicable concept in love EVER. Whoever came up with this sick idea shall be shot. If you guys decide to have an open relationship, it’s a given that she’ll act “unfaithful” and do all those one-nighter with others (a good breeding ground for STDS too). Don’t be surprised that she does that and don’t be jealous if she meets another guy romantically, you set up for it. In my opinion, open relationships are a recipe for disaster. It encourages disloyalty, unfaithfulness and cheapness. It’s simply morally wrong. Intimate relationships are, should and will be kept private, only between two people and no one else. This is important for marriage and influences the child’s upbringing.
2) I think you have a jealousy problem. From the videos you are too jealous about every remote things. At one point, from your perspective, you’re in a “love triangle” situation, in which Josh “seems” to be kissing your gf Penny. But maybe Penny was right, Josh is just doing something else that remotely resembles the anticipation of kissing, but really, he just might be picking up Penny’s cat. But this is irrelevant, but it shows that you are possessive and jealous.
3) No matter how sad the ending was, you greatly deserved it. Sorry man, but that’s the truth. You lied to her in the beginning and that’s what you got. You take relationships as if it’s a game and it pisses ppl off, especially singles (including myself) who has never had a relationship, and who has to endure years of rough times of being rejected all the time and finding out that the girl is taken (ex- late bloomers). Man, I shall be more than glad to take over your spot in love. You deserve to be lonely for the rest of your life (I think you can learn from this and improve your personality, I have confidence in you. Life is hard, and people make mistakes).

NO WAY this is real!
Some reasons:
- The book that she holds up with all the rules, she conveniently blocks part of the title in a weird way thereby skirting around fair use.
- Although this blog is about a relationship, in the 2nd episode when they are physically together there is this huge lack of touching. When it happens it’s conveniently off camera.
- This thing covers 5 months but theres a shocking lack of content here. Why didn’t he post the Australian girl talking to Penny. Now THAT would’ve been some blogging! As it stands there is a cast of 3 in this thing, with only one peek at the 3rd.
- This girl is prudish enough that she won’t show herself on a webcam but she’ll bare her taint to the pet store tycoon. Hmm. I’m not saying it’s impossible, just a little strange.
- Where in the hell would this guy get these ads at the end of every video? I was watching them thinking this is more of an experiment in narrowcasting ads to bloggers than a real life diary. Maybe this is just one big ad for the Flex Enclosure plug-in?
If I’m wrong and this is real then PUT SOME MORE UP! It’s the stuff that will cause more advanced civilizations to annihilate the earth but you just can’t stop watching!

Normally I don’t bother to respond to these “fake” posts, but Winterlight is so specific and wrong in his accusations that I thought it would be a good idea to explain a few things.
First, whether this was fake or real there is no reason why we couldn’t show the title to the book “The Rules” that Penny loves so damn much. Blogs don’t get the ridiculous copyright scrutiny that movies in wide release do. The fact is she just held it up like that.
I’m sorry that he feels we didn’t touch enough on camera. If he wants to make a video where he gropes his girlfriend for 5 minutes I’m sure the YouTube community would thank him for it.
The reason for the small number of videos is the difficulty of actually being home and awake at the same time when we were 6 hours apart. Penny didn’t exactly make herself easy to reach either. And if you’d ever tried recording both sides of a webcam conversation you’d know that it’s practically impossible. I had to start up three different programs to make it happen and I didn’t want the Australian girl to see me recording anything.
Again, you’ve clearly never tried to have webcam sex. It is NOT the same thing as regular sex. Penny is very willing to have the regular kind.
As for the ads, Revver.com hosts all the videos and puts ads at the end. I get a small payment for each click. I figured I might as well make some money off of this fiasco. The Enclosure Flex plugin was something my friend Kyle Gilman wrote for me back when I was hosting the videos myself. We give it away for free. That would be quite an elaborate advertisement for something we don’t get any money for.
As of right now, I don’t think there will be any more videos since Penny refuses to go anywhere near a webcam.

1. Test your gf is she’s faithful
2. The boy is not interseted in his gf anymore and doesn’t care what she’s doin
Whatever it is somethin has gone wrong with that relationship. If this was for real - I swear you’ll never gonna fix it!

I just randomly ran into your video on Youtube and found your website here. My first reaction to your video was tell you not to do it anymore but I guess I was too late (not that you would listen to me of course). I really think you should’ve told her. Girls don’t take easily to lying man. There is a little thing called trust and you were willing to bare your relationship to the whole wide world without her knowledge. If you really intended to keep her, you should’ve been honest with her. But yeah, we all make stupid choices and that doesnt necessarily make us bad people. If anything, she deserves a real apology. Do the right thing man. Take the videos down.

Here is my theory…
I think Sean and Penny are back together again.
I think Penny must have come to understand or at least accept what Sean did here with the vlog, and be ok with it staying up. As at least one poster has said, this vlog is loaded with all sorts of reminders for not only how precious an intimate relationship is, but also how fragile it can be. Not only is this vlog a wake-up call to viewers, giving us renewed appreciation and respect for our own relationships, but it represents a monument to a milestone in their own personal relationship together. Whatever we have learned by watching, they have learned 10x as much by living through it. If they have managed to put this behind them and move on with their relationship together, it speaks volumes about a new-found maturity in their relationship that they leave this small chapter in their lives available online as a beacon for others.
I believe Sean must have come to a compromise with Penny that while this episode of their lives could remain online as a tribute to this decidedly difficult time in their relationship, Sean would break it off clean and refrain from making any more of their private lives a public soap opera for the rest of the world.
It was good of Sean to leave his last comment, however. Most of us wish only the best to both of them, and while he did not come right out and say as much, I know I for one feel significantly more at peace as I intuit that he and Penny have moved on with their personal (private) lives together, taking the lessons they have learned with them while leaving their tracks online here for the benefit of any of us who are willing to learn from their pain.
Two comments in particular from his last post lead me to the happy conclusion that they are back together. Both comments relating to Penny are used in the present tense, and the last comment not only evidences an increased sensitivity to Penny’s wishes, but also presents these wishes authoritatively, as opposed to hypothetically. (”Penny refuses to go anywhere near a webcam”) (We can’t blame her
For a girl like Penny to have “chosen” a guy like Sean in the first place means that Penny saw something beyond the shyness that grabbed her heart. By the time Sean pulled this “vlog experiment” Penny had had enough exposure to him to realize that, to a certain extent anyway, Sean was just being Sean. Genius and strange often go hand in hand and if you want the good, sometimes you just have to accept the bad that comes with it. I think that Penny had enough of an understanding and appreciation for who Sean is that after the last video, she was able to reflect over everything and to ultimately forgive Sean.
For his part, despite his near-fatal and somewhat fatalistic obsession with documenting and posting what could well have proven to be the swan song of happiness in his life, I think Sean’s world revolves around Penny. I imagine that one of the positive things to emerge from this “vlog experiment” for Sean is a better understanding of the difference between being obsessed with someone (focus on self and needs of self) and getting past that to truly caring about someone (focus on the other person and being sensitive to their needs)
Who knows - I could be full of hot air. These conclusions might simply be the meanderings of an over-active imagination. Be that as it may, I trust I’m right. Thank you both, Penny and Sean, for leaving this up for us to learn from. By sharing this part of your lives, you help the rest of us in ours and empower all of us to help make the world a better place. The best of wishes to both of you as you continue on with the rest of your lives.

I don’t mind if this is invented or not. This themes about truth and with the way we relate to others, and to ourselves.
Doesn’t really matter if they are actors and this is scripted. I enjoyed it but I felt some wierd sensations also when very similar situations to some I’ve lived in my life appeared on the screen.
If this is a written story, whoever is the author must have lived something like that sometime in his live. Too real dialogs, too real emotions, too little story to be interesting in a conventional way. Too real to be unreal =)
And if it’s real then I feel I understand the reason you decided to post all these vids without telling her. But it’s not easy to put it into words. I live through something similar, and make some decisions that I knew would end up exploding with unpredictable consecuences. I needed to keep going playing with fire, just to discover what was real in my life and what was not. The ‘bomb’ exploded, same as you. And everything has changed since then, but it feels great to be alive. And I’ve learned some insights. Never will be the same again, but… when is it?
